I've just started playing with Google Earth and I like it a lot. Google Earth is a searchable virtual globe on your desktop that downloads increasing levels of detail as you zoom into places of interest. It is an addictive way to blow lots of bandwidth. Get Google Earth (Free Version).

Of particular interest to me is the ability to load place markers and tracks (e.g. from your GPS) into Google Earth using their KML (Keyhole Markup Language, I'm guessing - Keyhole was the original name for the product) file format. I'm only just getting started, but here is my first attempt (an export of the test file I use in my GPS Application - a walk around 'Dogwood', where my friends, Dave & Jenny, live): dogwood.kml

UPDATE: All locations from the photo gallery in one .kml file.

To learn more about KML, see the Google Earth KML Tutorial.
