outdoor living » introduction

The great outdoors is a particular passion of mine. It is the common element in a disparate set of interests that include hiking, camping, bush craft, wilderness survival, boat building, marine electronics and mucking about with GPS equipment.

On these pages my plan is to dump out a haphazard collection of things I've learnt and things I'm working on. It is also the home of an on-line copy of a much-loved but long-out-of-print book about bush craft. If you share some of these interests, hopefully some of this collection will be of use to you.
